Week 1 is a moving tribute to a lost loved one delivered by Roshan Ruprai, a London-based artist. Written and recorded one week after his mother passed away from breast cancer, the piece documents the beginning of Roshan’s grieving process whilst also celebrating his mother’s life and her part in shaping him into who he is today. The visuals are taken from family VHS tapes and supplemented by Super 8mm footage shot by Zoe Black.

Bulletproof was the first song released by Roshan Ruprai. The video premiered at  Tate Modern as part of Age/ncy, a three-day arts exchange to mark the 50th anniversary of the anti-ageism movement.
