GIRLY (2024) follows non-binary filmmaker Zoe Black in an essay on how their relationship with femininity has evolved over time. Zoe goes on this journey along with Sorrell, Au, and Daze, exploring what it means to be 'girly' through performance, friendship, and an over-the-top pink room. GIRLY was selected as a capstone thesis project and funded by USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. It has screened internationally and won Best Documentary Short Film at QueerCineMad 2024, a Goya Award qualifying selection.
